Shell out the beads, grab your Big Fat Tuesday cups, crack open some hot and juicy crawfish, and tune into some BOUNCE music, it’s Mardi Gras season!

Well just for today

Unfortunately, I always miss out on Mardi Gras festivities every year. And if you know how my cousin and I roll, we will pack a bag or two, and just GO! If only I could remember the time of year…

So in honor of Mardi Gras, I have decided to finally wear my beautiful custom sequins green jumpsuit made by well known Baltimore fashion designer Shannon Willis of “Lilyovelay”.

My designer Shannon and I collaborated on a “look”, sketch, and mark- up last November for a previous engagement. A signature look in which I had no idea I’ve posses until searching for fabrics , and going down memory lane from my previous photo shoots. Can you guess the look?

If you guess jumpsuit, you are absolutely correct!

With this custom piece, I wanted to pay homage to the 70’s era and emulate the Mardi Gras theme colors; by extending the bell bottoms with more length and flare for a more dramatic feel. We decided to add mesh around the abdomen area and neckline to show contrast between the fabric textiles in the jumpsuit.

What I love most about the jumpsuit is the deep plunge neckline, boy short lining, and it fits snugly. The matte sequins green fabric and convenient pockets are truly the icing on the cake !

Or should I say the sweet savory of creole sauce and cajun spices
